Award-winning film, television and stage actress Edie Falco turns 49 today!  Her most prominent roles were on The Sopranos as Carmela Soprano and Nurse Jackie.  Her starring role as Nurse Jackie allowed her to participate in a conversation about the changing portrayals of women in primetime television in an episode of America in Primetime.
