May 18, 1980: Mount St. Helens Erupts
On this day in 1980, Mount St. Helens in Washington State erupted as a result of an earthquake. 30 years after the massive eruption…could it happen again? Watch NOVA’s “Mt. St. Helens: Back From the Dead” to find out.
