MARCH 14, 1911: FATHER OF MODERN ORIGAMI BORN
On this day in 1911, the late Akira Yoshizawa, considered one of the fathers of modern origami, was born. In the 1930s, he developed a system of folding patterns employing a set of symbols, arrows and diagrams. Yoshizawa and other origami masters formed local and international organizations publicizing the art.Play Independent Lens’ “Match the Folds” game.  Can you spot the patterns within the patterns?
