NOVEMBER 30: MARK TWAIN BORN, 1835
On this day in 1835, author and humorist Mark Twain was born. Last year, the PBS NewsHour shared with viewers a previously unpublished essay by the American literary giant.

The 10-page handwritten essay’s subject: the journalistic interview. In the course of Twain’s career, he was frequently interviewed by reporters.
